Review - positive and negative sides

Positive thingsGerman quality, good enough for that old, was very successful year as car repairs were meagre and consumption, even below 6L next year, unfortunately, clutch, camshaft, a turbine building at great cost. But for old car with these risks to be taken into account. The engine good, sufficiently powerful (74kW, 2 red TDI letters), very good jump, in winter cold engine operation in a matter of seconds. Before had Volvo commonrail was younger, it was longer to start even warmer, this really is ideal engine in this respect, and an economical as V50 2.0L diesel. Also inside luggage compartment surprisingly more than V50 estate.

Negative thingsMinus - on start engine is smoky and slightly stinks. Visually design could be better.

Review - positive and negative sides

Positive thingsGood consumption. When driving with a roof rack, consumption either does not change or is minimal. Pretty brisk. Warm up quickly in winter. During these years, there have been every year in Poland (for a few years even 3-4 times), Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Germany, Lithuania, Estonia. Every year in the summer for 10 - 12 days traveled through these countries. As somebody has already written, if it were possible to get such a new one, then without thinking it would take.

Negative thingsThere may have been a slightly higher ground clearance, the boot lid was expensive to replace (used in normal condition - 200 €), the parking brake cables had to be changed regularly, the rear passenger windows sweat in wet weather, and if lowered, they cause unpleasant vibrations in the air when driving on the track.

Review - positive and negative sides

Positive thingsDroved it across the Europe. A trusted and reliable car. I'm performing regular maintenance and replacing worn out parts, for Golf parts are not expensive. The last inspection without a single failure - deficiencies were not found: If I could buy 4th Golf new from dealer, then definitely would buy it instead of new models.

Negative thingsThere is nothing negative.
